Cobourg Classic Finalists
The team played in their first tournament of the year this past weekend in Cobourg. After a slow start losing the first game 5-1, the Bandits finished off the round robin with an 8-0 game and a hard fought 3-3 tie. This put them into the semi-finals where they dominated winning 8-1 and set up a date in the finals. It was a great game and they battled to the end eventually scoring the equalizer late in the third period to tie it 2-2. Unfortunately, overtime was not as kind as Napanee scored in sudden death.
