Playoff Champs!
The Minor Peewee Bandits played a thrilling series against our rivals the West London Hawks. The first game ended in a tense 1-1 tie. The Bandits had the slight edge in game two, winning 3-0. So that led to game three, and the Bandits did not disappoint. We came out strong and had numerous chances but could not solve a very solid West goalie. Finally we snuck one past him on a nice deflection. We held a 1-0 lead well into the 3rd when West finally snuck one by our goalie. So it was 1-1 when with about 30 seconds left, we managed to put another past the West goalie for the win!
This was an amazing game played by both sides. I am so proud of the way the boys played not just tonight but the whole season. They truly never gave up. They work hard up and down the ice, with and without the puck and play a true team game.
We have some work to do before the Alliance Championships but I know these boys will be ready!
