Welcome to the Minor Bantam 2016-2017 tryouts!
PRIOR TO TRYOUTS:
1) Players must be registered with London Bandits Minor Hockey prior to tryouts.
2) Player must report to the sign in table to receive a jersey number for the tryout sessions.
3) All players must ensure that they bring a water bottle with their name on the bottle.
4) All players will attend two tryouts before a player is released. Please check Minor Bantam Black website for updates on players moving onto the next tryout.
INDIVIDUAL EVALUATIONS
Players will be evaluated on the following aspects:
1) Hockey Skills: skating, speed, passing, shooting, stick handling
2) Personal Skills: effort, focus, commitment, listening, drive and determination
3) Hockey senses: positional play, play without the puck, creativity, aggressiveness, team play
During the tryout process in order to select the best team possible players may be requested to play a different position than they signed up for.
This team is looking for players committed to hard work, focus and team play.
Behavior in the dressing room during tryouts will be monitored as well.
