Welcome Team
Hello Parents and Players.
I would like to start off by introducing myself.
My name is Beau Chafee and I will be coaching the 2020-2021 Atom MD team.
We will be joined on our bench by Phil LeBlanc as our Trainer, Bernie Paquette as Forward Coach, Jason Hart as Defensive Coach and John Gilkes as our Goalie Coach. Scott Ryder will be taking on the roles of Team Manager/Treasurer/Covid screener. Our Parent Representative is still TBD.
This will be my 11th year coaching minor hockey and I am very excited to be involved with the MD team this year. As you are aware this will be a very different hockey season. There are still lots of unknowns and changes will be ongoing. In order to make this a successful year and positive experience for everyone, we will need to work together, be patient and support one another. All of us play an important role in contributing to the team’s success. During phase one of this season we will be focusing on 10 weeks of skills and drills developing all our players and team. We will be on the ice 3 days a week. Mondays and Sundays are the regular scheduled ice times, with Wednesdays being our contract ice. Please note that the cost of Wednesday’s contract ice time will be split equally amongst all players.
