Tryout update
Are all you kids ready ? Time to pack your bag and get your game face on!!
Tryouts are here.
So with tryouts now upon us, a few things to touch base on.
Please show up in time to register and get settled in.
You will pay your tryout fee at first tryout.
All players will receive at least 2 tryouts before any cuts are made.
Players proceeding will be listed on the Minor Atom MD home page.
Players are to bring their own water bottles.
The first couple tryouts will be run by Rodney Hynes, a Bandit coach from an older age group. He will be assisted by my assistant coach Jason Burns and another 1 or 2 coaches.
This gives myself a chance to have an overall view of all the kids as equally as possible, along with non team associated evaluators.
The kids can expect to see drills that will expose their positives and weaknesses. The first couple tryouts will have lots of skating(not power skating) yet drills competing, racing, skating showing puck control and of course seeing those big hard shots !!
A FAST and gritty team is what I will be looking to put together.
