Wayne Karlstedt Award
This our first year for this award. Wayne was a coach with the London Minor Hockey association who always gave his time for those kids struggling and he always gave his extra time to ensure those kids achieved a small goal. We thought this award would be suited for our Initiation program. We are looking for the coach who goes out of their way to ensure that our kids are achieving their goals and giving them the skills they need to get to the next level.
The London Bandits along with many families have voted on this award and we would like to congratulate Jared Campbell as the recipient of this award.
Jared has jumped in with both feet to ensure our players at the Initiation level had someone to lead them and ensure their program was running effectively. He got helpers to aid in this by providing the kids with the skills and the ability to play the game of Hockey. Jared also helped out at the Novice MD level and was an assistant coach and always supported the families and the kids and just jumped in when a family was in need during a difficult time. He ensure Hockey continued for many families in a normal way.
Jared was also part of the London Bandits board and was always supporting us in many ways. He supported us in our Dan Pulham and Neil Barker tournaments helping us ensure all the boards were cleared and just giving up his time so that kids can have fun. Jared is very dedicated volunteer whom is always there to help! Congratulations Jared on this award.
