Letter to Parents, News (London Bandits)

Dear Members,  

It has been brought to our attention that one of our members who is standing for election has sent an email promoting themselves and other members. The London Bandits Board has been advised by our legal counsel that our London Bandit Board Mission values have been compromised.   We are also “Incorporated” (see our constitution for these details) and must follow the protocols in regard to obtaining personal member’s information.  The London Bandits Board was not contacted, nor was a request made and therefore has put our membership at potential risk.  As a Board, we do not support this.

 With this said, we had a member file a complaint with the London Bandits Board and therefore, we have had to investigate. It has been advised by our legal counsel that actions are being investigated and we are unable to discuss this matter further as there could be potential further legal actions forthcoming in this regard. In order to provide fair treatment as is stated in our mission statement for all members in the category that the promotions occurred, we will give the running opponents the same opportunity. You will receive an outline of this information shortly. This should give those an opportunity to choose a Candidate based on all information.

The London Bandits Board would like to formally apologize to the members as we were unaware this was happening. As maintaining utmost privacy of our membership is of great importance, we would like to ensure we are doing our due diligence to ensure all members information is protected as we go through this investigation.
