GLHA - Catch the Ace
GLHA introduces "Catch the Ace", this will be our major fundraiser in support of our associations in the London Region.  All proceeds will go back to the London Jr. Mustangs, West London Minor Hockey Association, Oakridge Minor Hockey Association, London North Nationals Hockey Association, and  London Bandits Hockey association. During Covid we have seen a huge decline in our sponsorships and the ability to get funds for our kids. This is our major fundraiser in order to help support our associations.  Please visit GLHA Catch the AceLets' help our associations out by getting our families and friends to r website and buy some tickets purchase some tickets- they may be able to get some great prizes.  

Rules

  1. The lottery will take place from November 19, 2020 until November 12, 2021 AND 7:00 PM . The Weekly Raffle winning number will be announced at EARL NICHOLS ARENA, EVERY FRIDAY STARTING November 19,2020  till November 12,2021 At 7:00PM OF DRAW AND ANY www.GLHACATCHTHEACE.COM.

 

 

  1. AS WELL AS WWW.GLHA.CA ASSCOCIATED.

 

 

  1. The following individuals are not eligible to participate in the Catch the Ace Raffle or Weekly Raffle:
  • BOARD MEMBERS AND THEIR IMMEDIATE FAMILIES OF GLHA, LONDON BANDITS, NORTH LONDON, WEST LONDON, OAKRIDGE, LONDON JUNIOR KNIGHTS
  • Persons under the age of 18
  • Intoxicated Persons

 

 

  1. Tickets are: ADJUST TICKET PRICES AS REQUIRED
  • 3 raffle numbers for $10.00
  • 10 raffle numbers for $20
  • 50 raffle numbers for $50
  • 300 raffle numbers for $100.

 

 

  1. Catch the Ace Raffle consists of 2 raffles. 1) A Weekly Raffle consisting of 20% of gross weekly sales. 2) a Progressive Catch the Ace Raffle consisting of 30% of gross weekly sales plus any carry over of previous weeks Catch the Ace Raffle jackpot.

 

 

  1. In order to qualify for a chance to win the Catch the Ace raffle patrons must purchase a ticket for the current Weekly Raffle.

 

 

  1. Prior to the first Weekly Raffle one deck of 52 digital playing cards will be placed into individual digital envelopes randomly numbered 1 to 52 inclusive and will be on display on www.GLHACATCHTHEACE.COM.

 

 

  1. The winning Catch the Ace card shall be noted as “ACE OF SPADES”.

 

 

  1. Tickets will be sold using electronic raffle systems supplied by Bump Worldwide Inc. an approved vendor of the AGCO.

 

 

  1. Weekly Raffle tickets will be available to online at: WWW.GLHACATCHTHEACE.COM.

 

 

  1. During online checkout process customer shall select an envelope number from remaining Chase the Ace Raffle Envelopes. This shall denote the purchasers selected envelope to be opened should their Weekly Raffle number be selected as the Weekly Raffle winner.

 

 

  1. Online purchases shall be made by Credit Card Exclusively.

 

 

  1. After purchase, patrons will be provided a digital receipt with their registered Weekly Raffle numbers from Bump World wide’s Random Selection System, digital receipt shall also denote the envelope number selected during the checkout process. No specific numbers can be given as numbers are generated randomly.

 

 

  1. The Weekly Raffle winning ticket number will be selected by a Random Number Generation (RNG) system from all raffle numbers sold for that Weekly Raffle.

 

 

  1. The Weekly Raffle winner shall be awarded the Weekly Raffle prize amount stipulate in (4.1).

 

 

  1. The Electronic Raffle System shall digitally open the Weekly Raffle winner’s selected envelope number.

 

  1. Should that digital envelope contain the designated winning card noted in (7) the Weekly Raffle winner shall also be awarded the Catch the Ace Raffle prize and the Raffle is concluded.
  2. Should the envelope NOT contain the designated winning card noted in (7):
    1.  The card and envelope number in the envelope are removed from being a valid selection from future Weekly Raffles
    2. The current Weekly Raffle is complete, a new Weekly Raffle shall commence at the appropriate licensed time with the Catch the Ace Raffle Jackpot carrying over.

 

 

  1. In a Must Go Raffle Scenario (where a winner of the Catch the Ace Raffle Jackpot is required to occur that particular raffle) the following process takes place:
    1. The Weekly Raffle winning ticket number will be selected by a Random Number Generation (RNG) system from all raffle numbers sold for that Weekly Raffle.
    2. The Weekly Raffle winner shall be awarded the Weekly Raffle prize amount stipulate in (4.1)
    3. The Electronic Raffle System shall digitally open the Weekly Raffle winner’s selected envelope number.

 

  1. Should that digital envelope contain the designated winning card noted in (7) the Weekly Raffle winner shall also be awarded the Catch The Ace Raffle prize and the Raffle is concluded.
  2. If the digital envelope does not contain the designated winning card another raffle number is selected by the Random Number Generator, this new raffle number does not collect the weekly Raffle prize amount. The new raffle number is assigned the lowest remaining unopened digital envelope available. This digital envelope is opened to reveal the card. If it is the designated winning card that holder of the raffle number wins the Catch The Ace Raffle prize. If it is not the winning card the process (16.iii.b) repeats until the designated winning card is located.

 

 

 

  1. The estimated amount of the Weekly Raffle prize will be shown on: WWW.GLHACATCTHEACE.COM.

 

 

  1. The estimated amount of the Catch the Ace progressive prize will be shown on: WWW.GLHACATCHTHEACE.COM.

 

 

  1. NOTE Strikeout if not applicable. If the digital envelope containing the designated winning card noted in (7) has not been selected by any of the draws prior to, and including, the first draw on FRIDAY November 19 ,2020 drawing will immediately continue until the designated winning card noted in (7) is revealed and the Catch The Ace prize awarded. Starting with the second ticket drawn that day each ticketholder will not receive a portion of the Weekly Raffle prize. This process will continue until the digital envelope containing the designated winning card noted in (7) is selected, the Catch the Ace jackpot awarded, and the raffle concluded.

 

 

  1. All winners (Weekly Raffle and Catch the Ace Raffle) shall be contacted by the telephone and/or address provided during the ticket purchase checkout process.

 

 

  1. Should there be any dispute over the identify of the purchaser of a winning ticket for either a Weekly Raffle or Catch the Ace Raffle the issue will be forwarded to the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) and appropriate authorities for guidance.

 

 

  1. The Weekly Raffle ticket holder has six months in which to claim their prize from the date of the draw their ticket was purchase for.

 

 

  1. The Catch the Ace Raffle winner has six months in which to claim their prize from the date of the draw their ticket was purchase for.

 

 

  1. When a winning ticket is presented, the winner must: show 1 piece of government issue ID proving their age to be over 18, complete GREATER LONDON HOCKEY ASSOCIATION Catch The Ace Prize Claim Form and sign their name on a printed copy of the winning ticket.

 

 

  1. If a winner (Weekly Raffle or Catch The Ace Raffle) cannot provide photo ID, then the winning proceeds will be held until such identification can be provided or the six month time period to claim a prize is expired as outlined in item 13.

 

 

  1. In the event that no winner (Weekly Raffle or Catch The Ace Raffle) comes forward, funds will be held for six months. After that time period has elapsed the prize will be dispersed appropriately with the approval of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).

 

 

  1. All prizes to be paid by cheque and must be accepted as awarded.

 

 

  1. All prize winners agree to have their name and prize information publicized by GREATER LONDON HOCKEY ASSOCIATION.
