I
want to send out a big thank you to the London Bandit board for not throwing in
the towel and doing everything in your power to help keep hockey alive. A big thank you goes out to all our Coaches. I know how hard it was when the rules were changing
daily, you managed to keep all our teams going, you all are amazing.
Thank you to our covid Manager Tina Barnes and all the team's covid managers,
I take great pride in the fact the Bandits were always taking the lead to keep
our players safe.
Thank you to all the Parents your patients this year did not go unnoticed without you we have no program. A big thank you to Luisa, our secretary for all her hard work this year. She always got the information out to our families and created so many zoom meetings in a drop of a hat.
I am still saddened that the Red zone took our spring program away. We spent a lot of time trying to make this special for all the players. The fact that we had so many players signed up shows us how much our kids are missing out.
I look forward to the day when we are playing and hosting tournaments again, when a hockey game is a hockey game and all our events come back from skate with Santa to little Johnny or Jill running up to get their trophy at round up
I look forward to seeing New Faces at our AGM come out and make a difference.
Lastly to the real Heroes of this year all the players, they showed up every week smiling loving the game even when things were not the way they were meant to be. We forget how much this affects them and the things they are losing out on. They are the reason why the Bandit Board puts in so many hours.
I look forward to the day when life goes back to Normal. Thanks again for being part of the Bandit family
Have a great summer
Jack Boyce
