Its that time of year to honour our volunteers and coaches in our associations who provide our players with the opportunities to become better players. We will start with Wayne Karlstedt award-
This award is for the Initiation Program Parents to vote on.
This award is for the Initiation Program Parents to vote on. Wayne was a coach with the London Minor Hockey Association for years, He had a reputation for helping players whom seem to struggle with their skills, and developing their skills, He never gave up on them. He continued to encourage them and kept practicing with them until they reached their goal. Wayne lost his life this past year and one of the families would like to honour him each year for a coach in the Initiation program who demonstrates these skills. Who shows compassion, love for the game, dedication and the ability to care and help children improve their skills as a hockey player.
