The Bandits Power Hockey Development Program is designed to give house league and MD coaches and players an opportunity to improve their skills together. This program features a back-to-basics format that includes power skating combined with basic hockey skills development, focusing on stickhandling, passing and shooting.
Our program will run for 8 weeks per session and there are two sessions running out of Argyle Arena. The Winter/Spring sessions begin January 17 th and runs to March 06, 2024. The IP/Novice house league teams and their MD affiliates will be on the ice for the first hour 5:30 pm Wednesdays) and the Atom/PeeWee house league teams and their MD affiliates will be on the ice for the second hour (7-8 pm Wednesdays). There is a maximum of 20 players for each hour so please register for the development program when you register to play hockey with the Bandits organization this season. The cost to register for the development program is $170/player for 8 weeks of power skating and basic skills development. This is your Bandits development program specifically designed for you! This program is designed to develop new/young coaches as well therefore the Bandits organization is reaching out to coaches of the IP, Novice, Atom, PeeWee and their MD affiliates and to Bantam/Midget HL and MD hockey players within the organization who are interested in helping out the coaches. For high school aged Bandits this will count towards your volunteer hours so please come out and enjoy becoming a coach and mentor for our young Bandit players this season.
