RZone Reminder for Parents
Dear Hockey Families,
We know how exciting (and sometimes nerve-wracking!) hockey playoffs can be. As spectators, it's important to remember that our kids are doing their best on the ice, and they're looking to you for support and positivity. Let’s keep the energy high and the emotions positive—cheering them on with pride and patience. These games can be intense, but it’s important to remember to stay calm, cool and collected in the stands. Spectators should demonstrate sportsmanship and show respect for coaches, referees, other teams, and their spectators.
We want to remind everyone that the City of London has an Rzone policy and will eject/ban people in the arenas in the event of:
Any incidents of threats/attempts to intimidate, aggression, use of alcohol/drugs, harassment,
verbal assault/use of profane or abusive language, physical assault/harm, vandalism, theft, attempts to goad/incite violence, bullying, mistreatment which intimidates, humilates or demeans another person, possession of weapons/firearms, any contravention of other Federal or Provincial laws, regulations, City by-laws or policies deemed inappropriate behaviour or refusal to follow the rules established by the City for use of its facilities.
Let’s all encourage our players to do their best, regardless of the outcome, and remember that the atmosphere should be one of respect and fun. Our kids are looking to us for guidance, so it is important for you to show positivity and encouragement. Enjoy the game and show our athletes that no matter the outcome, we’re proud of their hard work and dedication.
Go Bandits!
