All registered players will be given an excellent opportunity to showcase their skills throughout the "3" on ice practice sessions as well as our scheduled 3 exhibition games.
The 2012 - 2013 will be a season full of opportunity for all players that make the seeded team.
Our goal this year is to provide the players with a fun hockey experience, helping them develop their hockey skills and shaping them to be better players. Our practices will be well prepared, both game and skill centered (positional play and game element situations will be instituted).
Assistant Coach - Mike DeCoste
Mike brings a wealth of coaching experience the most recent being 2011-2012 season with the LJK Major Bantam AAA Green team.
Associate Coach - Kyle Decoste
Kyle grew up in South London and he is a former OHL hockey player having played with Brampton, Belleville, SSM and London. Kyle was drafted by the NHL's Tampa Bay Lightning but unfortunately has undergone 3 shoulder surgeries. Kyle has transferred from Dalhousie to Western and he will bring a youthful fun approach to our practices.
We understand that these players (1998's) are entering High School and we will be encouraging them to play football, basketball, volleyball etc.... as playing high school sports is important to them and to their social development.
It is our goal to assemble a good core of players, a group that will think and work as a team, a group that will embrace our team first approach.
