Halton Hills Silver
After a perfect Friday with outstanding goalie performances and a whole team effort to defeat Guelph and South Simcoe, the boys took a loss against the host team on Saturday afternoon. This had them positioned for a semi-final match-up against Oshawa on Sunday morning.
They came out hard and battled to a win over a really good Oshawa opponent, setting the stage for a rematch against the host Halton Hills Thunder team. Despite a strong start and an early lead, they came up just a bit short in a 4-2 loss (the 4th going into an empty net) and had to settle for Silver.
The coaches want to congratulation our team on playing the best hockey they've played as a team all season, with contributions from literally every player to get us to the finals. They stayed in the game right to the end to bring home the first hardware of the season and we are proud of the hardwork and team spirit they showed all weekend.
