Pickering Panthers Bring your AA game champions
A great weekend of Hockey ended with a large Banner Reading Pickering Panthers Bring your AA game Champions .
Game one we came out a little flat and had to battle hard to come away with a 2 - 2 tie vs. Rideau St Lawrence if not for our Goalies this would of been a loss . Game two we where facing Don Mills Mustangs and we had everyone rolling this game and skated to a 12 to 1 victory . Game three we where playing the Gloucester Rangers a team that had already won two big tournaments this year and we heard nothing but great things about this team . What a great game to be part of two great teams battling back and worth for the entire game On this day we where the better team and escaped with a 6 to 3 win . Game 4 Saturday afternoon a win was needed to place in the top 4 to advance to Sunday we where playing the Sudbury Wolves it was a lop sided affair from the start ending in a large Victory .
Sunday Morning and with bad luck match ups the top two teams where facing each other yet again This game had a feeling of a championship . Standing in our way was the Gloucester Rangers another very exciting back and fourth game until Ryan while Short Handed made a play only Ryan can make to score into the empty net for a 5 to 3 Victory .
Off To the finals where we were taking on the Seaway Valley Rapids a team we did not know much of, we came out flying to take control of the game but they where not going to go away quiet and made us work for the Victory Hats off to the London Bandits a great weekend of hockey playing some really good teams .
