Congratulations to the London Bandits Minor Peewee team who won the 2017 Bradford Blue and Gold Championship!!!
It was a crazy weekend for the boys as they started off the tourney with a 0-0 tie against Milton Winterhawks Blue followed by a 2-1 loss to G.O.B. Blues out of the Ottawa area. The team was undeterred and came back with a 2-1 win against the Vaughan Rangers and a convincing 5-2 win over the Aurora Tigers. That set the table for a semi final re-match against the G.O.B. Blues. It took 4 overtime periods and going to a one on one situation before the Bandits we victorious.
Having won the semi-final we were then set to face the Milton Winterhawks Blue again in the final. The team came to play hard and captured the championship with a well executed game that finished in a 5-0 score.
Congratulations boys you definitely earned it by not giving up!
