After an exciting and grueling playoff run the Bandits Minor Novice season ended in the finals last night earning a second place finish. The team played a tremendous hockey game but came out on the losing end 4-3 against West. The coaches are extremely proud of the effort and perserverance throughout the year and especially yesterday evening. Congratulations to all on an outstanding season. Go Bandits Go!!!  Read More

Last weekend the Minor Novice Bandits travelled to Newmarket to play in the 32 team Cujo Cup. Despite an opening 5-1 loss, the team bounced back with wins of 8-2, 3-2, and 6-2 to have the opportunity to play in the Diamond Finals (a guaranteed top 6 finish!). A slow start had the team down 2-0 but they battled back to tie it near the end of the second period. Trailing again late in the third the Bandits once more answered the call scoring to tie the game with just a minute left to send it into overtime before losing in the extra period 4-3. 
The whole team should be proud of a fantatic weekend where I know that fun was had by all!

Congratulations to the entire Minor Novice Bandits team on a terrific weekend at the Bob Stark Oakridge Tournament! After wins of 11-5, 7-1, and 4-2 to get to the final, the team ran out of steam losing 4-2. The coaches are proud of everyone after four hard fought games. We'll get them next time!

The schedule for team pictures has been released and our time is 9am on Sunday Nov.4 at Nichols Arena in the large meeting hall. We are the first shoot of the day so it should be right on time. Bring your smiles and we will see you there.
