Last weekend the Minor Novice Bandits travelled to Newmarket to play in the 32 team Cujo Cup. Despite an opening 5-1 loss, the team bounced back with wins of 8-2, 3-2, and 6-2 to have the opportunity to play in the Diamond Finals (a guaranteed top 6 finish!). A slow start had the team down 2-0 but they battled back to tie it near the end of the second period. Trailing again late in the third the Bandits once more answered the call scoring to tie the game with just a minute left to send it into overtime before losing in the extra period 4-3.
The whole team should be proud of a fantatic weekend where I know that fun was had by all!
