Bandits Outmanned and Outgunned, Lose 5-3
With three wins in a row, the Orange Bandits have apparently found the secret to winning... show up.  With 15  or 16 skaters versus just 11 for the Black Bandits, the Orangemen again carried the play, out-shooting the home team 30-13 and scoring four unanswered goals in the second period to erase a 1-0 deficit. Ultimately, the Orange Bandits roared out to a 5-1 lead before two late power-play goals in the third made the game seem closer than it was.

To be fair, the Black Bandits had a legitimate goal (clearly over the line) waved off in the first period that would ultimately have given them a 2-0 lead, and this might have made a difference.  But the Black Bandit's apathy/tiredness was clearly evident in the final 2 minutes of the game, after two quick goals made the score suddenly 5-3 with the Orange Bandits still killing a penalty.  Tragically, the Black Bandits decided just to sit on a two-goal deficit, rather than push for another goal that would have possibly left the Orangemen reeling and certainly made things interesting down the stretch.

Three stars are hard to come by in this game.

First star: Jake came alive in the last few minutes, with both a goal and an assist, and generally skated hard all game, as usual

Second star:  Cory had a  nice assist and seemed to skate hard

Third star:  Ryan Ha and AP player Ryan He were on the ice for all three goals for (2 power play goals) and for only one even strength goal against... and generally were solid
